RU Hacks is a student-run hackathon by Ryerson University, located in the heart of downtown Toronto (virtual this year). This year will be our sixth annual hackathon and we invite you to join us for a number of workshops, events, mentorship, and more. Meet new people, learn new skills and have fun while showcasing your talents!
International individuals are eligible to participate and the prizes are shipped to countries with Amazon due to delivery limitations.
Requirements
Make sure that your devpost submission has the following and submitted by May 8th 10AM EDT:
A video (2-3 minutes max) that showcases your application
A link to your github repo (must be public)

Best Implementation of Openscreen’s SDK/API

Openscreen offers a unique set of tools to help developers generate QR Code related workflows to create contactless applications. In this hackathon, we are looking for creative implementations of Openscreen’s SDK/API.
First place will win a cash prize of $2,500 for the team and a coffee-chat with our CEO
Second place will win a cash prize of $1,500 for the team.
Best Education Hack: Studio Monitor Speaker
The best education hack aims to aid in the transition of virtual academic to in-person academic life of students and beyond. Prize is a Studio Monitor Speaker for each member of the winning team
